Added in ForeverReworked (text, ranks or position)Relocated, same effectFaded icons are unchanged from Classic. Each tooltip shows the Classic text; talents cut from a tree are listed beneath it.
  • Add a point with a click. Take one back with a right-click or Shift+click.
  • Tap a talent to read it, tap again to add a point, press and hold to take one back.
  • Each row opens after 5 more points in that tree. An arrow means the talent it points from must be maxed first.
  • Where the demo only showed one rank, the other ranks are estimated and say so in the tooltip.
  • Press C to toggle the Classic diff.

Druid in WoW Forever — What Changed from Classic

52 talents15 new32 reworked1 relocated4 unchanged10 gone from the trees

Druid in WoW Forever has 52 talents: fifteen new, thirty-two rewritten, four unchanged. Two trees got new 31-point talents, Berserk in Feral Combat and Wild Growth in Restoration; Moonkin Form keeps the Balance spot with new text. Ten Classic talents left the trees. Nature's Grasp and Omen of Clarity are trained now, which quietly returns three points to every Balance and Restoration build. Improved Nature's Grasp, Natural Weapons, Improved Thorns, Feral Aggression, Blood Frenzy, Faerie Fire (Feral), Improved Mark of the Wild and Improved Enrage are gone.

The class also gained Revive, a ten-second out-of-combat resurrection, so Rebirth is no longer the only way to raise someone. Cure Poison is gone from the demo spellbook; Abolish Poison is the only poison cure. Feral Charge now has a Cat Form version that leaps behind the target, and Shredding Attacks (was Improved Shred) mentions Lacerate, a bear ability that did not exist in Classic.

Balance tree iconBalance

Balance has six new talents. Genesis raises periodic damage and healing. Nature's Majesty adds spell and melee crit and is required for Nature's Splendor, which extends Moonfire, Rejuvenation, Regrowth and Insect Swarm. Balance of Nature rewards alternating Nature and Arcane spells, and Eclipse makes Wrath speed up your next two Starfires. Overgrowth lets Entangling Roots hold more than one target. Improved Starfire adds a stun chance, Improved Entangling Roots makes rooted targets tougher to break, and Moonkin Form multiplies armor from items far more than it did in Classic.

Feral Combat tree iconFeral Combatnew 31-point talent

Feral Combat is the largest tree at 19 talents and has six new ones. Mangle, one point in row four requiring Savage Fury, is the bleed-amplifying strike. Predatory Instincts adds melee crit damage. King of the Jungle makes Tiger's Fury grant Energy. Natural Reaction gives dodge and Rage on dodge for bears. Rend and Tear buffs abilities against bleeding targets and requires Predatory Strikes. Berserk, the new 31-point talent, removes Mangle's cooldown and lets it hit three targets; it requires Leader of the Pack. Ferocity now covers Mangle, Heart of the Wild scales all three forms, and Feral Charge works in Cat Form.

Restoration tree iconRestorationnew 31-point talent

Restoration adds three talents and a capstone. Gift of the Earthmother shortens the global cooldown on Rejuvenation, Swiftmend and Wild Growth. Living Spirit raises Spirit and is required for Wild Growth, a 31-point heal-over-time that covers the target's whole party. Naturalist (was Improved Healing Touch) also adds 1% damage per rank, which matters for a leveling Druid that heals dungeons. Natural Shapeshifter moved down from row one, Swiftmend was rewritten to consume the full remaining heal, and Nature's Swiftness requires Naturalist. Furor, Improved Regrowth and Tranquil Spirit remain.

Beyond the trees

4 of the 10 races can be a Druid; their racials are on the WoW Forever racials page. The baseline spells that changed, and the demo spellbook, are under class abilities, and the account-wide Legacy perks apply to every character.
